The Rolled Foot

Here is some video of the creation of a rolled foot. We did not invent this technique, but cannot remember where we came across it. We typically use a pony roller or brayer but in later clips, Alex shows several other methods using tools commonly in a potter's possession.

I love this demo. What a great idea for trimming a foot in a more expedient way. And yes I laughed out loud and "with you" as the last cup in the video popped out of the giffin grip's hold. That's probably one of the most irritating things that can happen when you're just trying to happily trim, trim, trim. Yes I can relate.
